Vintage Car & Motorcycle Rally at Cropton – August 2017
On Sunday 20th August 2017 we had the 10th gathering of vintage cars and motorbikes at the Cropton Village Hall field and some overflow exhibits on the main street. The weather was pleasant and dry which was excellent for viewing the old classic vehicles. This year there were 43 classic cars and over 90 motorcycles.
In Cropton village hall the rally visitors were able to enjoy home-made refreshments. There was also a bric-a-brac stall, a book stall and tombola.
The event raised over £1,500 for village hall funds. Many thanks to the organizers, Angela and Graham Carter, and to all the many exhibitors. Thanks to everyone who attended, the many helpers and all those that made donations of food, bric-a-brac and raffle prizes.
