Saturday 19 September 2026 – CEILIDH – Village Hall – An evening of live music and dancing – Raising funds for the friends of the Kirk Theatre, Pickering – Tickets £20 include supper – Please bring your own drinks – Purchase tickets by contacting: friends@kirktheatre.co.uk

TUESDAY ART CLUB
Cropton Art Club meets in the village hall each Tuesday from 2pm-3.30pm – £2 per session – A small, friendly group exploring drawing and painting – New members are warmly welcomed, no experience necessary!
KNIT & NATTER
Mary from Northcote is starting up a Knit & Stitch evening at the village hall on Thursday 27th August (6:30–8:00 pm) – hopefully to run once a month going forward! It will be a good excuse for an evening get-together to have a knit and natter with other stitchers in Cropton, especially as the autumn and winter months draw in.
Everyone is welcome to join! It will be a casual affair (with cups of tea & biscuits), so bring along your current project to work on, or if you are new to it all and want to get involved and learn how to knit, Mary will happily show people.
