Cropton Spring Fair 2019
A Spring Fair was held in Cropton village hall in March 2019. The fair was well attended and the highlight was a display of craft work done by the late Jean Feaster and the late Valerie Barnaby.
A stall featuring crafts and paintings by Valerie Barnaby raised funds of £183 for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The helpers were Pat Wright and Kezy Feaster. Both ladies had much assistance, advice and friendship from Mrs. Barnaby. Kezy is now a very talented artist with a large portfolio of work. Please visit her website.
Mrs. Barnaby was a very prolific painter of landscapes – many of them portrayed the lovely North York Moors.
The late Jean Feaster did a lot of superb embroidery work. Her love of flowers is very evident!
A display in the village hall featured a wide variety of craft work by Jean.
A wall mounted display captured some exceptional embroidery work by Jean.
The work by Jean was very much admired by visitors to the Spring Fair.
