Vintage Car & Motorcycle Rally at Cropton – August 2014

On Sunday 17th August 2014 a number of vintage cars and motorbikes were on show in the Cropton Village Hall field. The weather was blustery but fine dry weather ensured a good day for viewing an excellent number of old classic vehicles.

There was such a large turnout of vintage motorcycles that the display overflowed in to the main street. In the village hall there was a bric-a-brac stall, a book stall, tombola, local honey for sale and a spinning wheel display. Visitors were able to enjoy delicious home-made refreshments.

Many thanks to the organizers, Angela and Graham Carter, and to all the exhibitors that brought their vintage vehicles to the rally. This event is well supported every year by many helpers and we appreciate all their efforts. Over £1,200 was raised for village hall funds. It is hoped that everyone enjoyed themselves!

We were very pleased when this vintage Rolls Royce arrived early at the rally!
