Cropton Methodist Chapel
Harvest Festival – 2012

The annual harvest festival was held in Cropton Methodist Chapel on Friday 5th October 2012. The service was led by Mr Robert Rayner and the organist was Mrs Brenda Towle.

After the service there was an auction of produce by Mr David Barber. There was some lovely produce and flowers donated and the auction raised £211.80 for chapel funds. After the auction tea and biscuits were served.

The harvest celebrations continued with a service on Sunday 7th October 2012. Mrs Ruth Leeming was the guest preacher.

As always, the display of produce and flowers in the chapel was excellent. Many thanks to all the ‘helpers’ for their time and efforts. All contributions/gifts to the harvest festival were appreciated.
